I'm not an expert, so don't expect me to be or treat me as such.
I just want to share the bits of info I've obtained during my time painting.
Depending on where you are and what you have access to- results can & will vary.

1. Getting your stickers up higher.
Ever wonder how writers get their stickers so high up on street signs? Carry a screwdriver with you when you go out. Ya know those lil holes that are in the posts for the street signs? Stick your screwdriver in there and you just created a step for you to stand on. It adds a good 2 - 3' to your slap, depending on how high you can get.
2. How to make a shoe-polish mop.
Empty a shoe-polish applicator, wash it out, and refill it with your mixture of choice, just make sure it's thin enough to saturate the nib without clogging it. Some of them have a regulator inside of the nib that you can remove for a bit more flow. The sponge heads are very delicate so you generally only want to use them on clean, flat surfaces, but you can make them last a bit longer but cutting a small piece of cloth and rubber banding it around the head.
3. Free Stickers
Dont have the money for eggshells or to print your own stickers? Create a USPS account online and get "223 postage labels" from their website mailed directly to you, completely free of cost. You can get up to 750 labels at a time.
4. Creating your own mixture.
Buy mop/marker paint, like Spring Fever or Soultip (I find that light colors work best- like white and pink) and add colored ink like Pilot or Garvey to create a mixture that will have the body and opacity of a paint, but the flow, drips, and bleed-through of an ink. This also give you the fun of creating your own custom colors. Each marker/mop has its own preference of viscosity, so play around with the ratios to get the effect you want.
